Outdoor Activity School Trips at Dorset Adventure Park
Bring your students on outdoor school trip adventure they will never forget!
Whether it’s an end of term reward, a new year group induction, student team building or leavers parties, choose a trip to Dorset Adventure Park for a truly memorable adventure.
Choose from the Waterpark or Mud Trail activities; or make a day of it and do both activities on the same day!
School trips can be booked for term time dates with sessions running between 10 am & 4 pm.
Weekend school trips are also available for boarders at the same cost. However we can only run 1 hour sessions at the weekend as we are also open to the public. We also cannot guarantee sole use at the weekends and changing facilities will be shared with the public.
To find out more, discuss requirements for your school group or to book, get in touch via contact form on this page.
Waterpark School Trip
During term time weekdays, we offer school groups a 90 minute session on the park, spending 45 minutes on each lake. We provide wetsuits and buoyancy aids for all and have capacity for up to 100 students (50 on each lake, swapping at half time).
Sessions include free play to start, and then structured challenges and games run by our fully qualified Lifeguards.
Our School Trip Packages are available for minimum group sizes of 15 students for the Waterpark.
Please note – If you are bringing less than 25 students for the Waterpark we cannot guarantee sole use of a lake; you may be sharing with another school group of similar age.
Mud Trail School Trip
A 90 minute session on our 2km Trail featuring muddy obstacles. Students can go around the course as many times as they wish during the session.
Don’t worry there are high pressure warm showers for afterwards, so no muddy minibuses!
Our School Trip Packages are available for minimum group sizes of 25 students for the Mud Trail.
Sole use of the Mud Trail is not guaranteed but the mud trail is a 2km course with plenty of space for multiple groups. We will not however mix primary and secondary age groups on the Trail.

School Trip Reviews
Hear experiences from past School visits
Outstanding experience - highlight of Y6 residential week. Two lakes with enormous inflatables. Of all the incredible experiences, the class enjoyed during the week, this was their highlight! So many things to climb up, throw yourself off, hang from, slide down. Can not recommend highly enough.
Fantastic Educational Trip / College Trip - End of Term Celebration for 20 (16-19 yrs) Outstanding day at the Dorset Waterpark.
Fantastic value for money - professional, enthusiastic and motivational instructors. All instructors/lifeguards prioritised safety, whilst at the same time promoting a fun experience for each member of our party. Clear signposted venue from main route, clean facilities, provision of lockers (mobile phones etc), quality equipment (wetsuits/buoyancy aids) and a beautiful, well-managed setting with picnic area.
FUN - SAFE - ADVENTUROUS - EXHILARATING - ALREADY PLANNING THE NEXT TRIP!
Brilliant! What an amazing afternoon. Our school group of teenagers had a brilliant time at the waterpark. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful and the lifeguards literally threw themselves into ensuring every single member of our party was looked after and had a good time, whatever their confidence level or ability. There's no better way to spend a morning (or afternoon)! Thanks to Ryan and everyone at the park for making it such an enjoyable trip. Every single teenager was asleep on the bus home - result!
