General and Medical Restrictions

The waterpark and mud trail have medical and general restrictions. Be sure to read the guidelines before participating.
General Restrictions
Waterpark Restrictions
- Waiver: All participants must have an up to date waiver form completed before taking part in activities. Participants aged under 18 must have a waiver completed by a parent or guardian.
- Minimum age 6.
- Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult
- It is recommended that children under 12’s are accompanied on the water by an adult, on a 1:4 ratio
- Under 8’s must be accompanied by an adult on the water on a 1:2 ratio
- Minimum height 110cm.
- Maximum weight 115kg (18 stone).
- Participants must be able to swim 25 metres unaided and be confident in the water. See Water Confidence below.
Water Confidence
All participants using the Waterpark must meet the minimum standard for water confidence.
This is defined as:
- Participants must be able to swim 25 metres unaided and be confident in the water.
- Buoyancy aids are always worn on the Waterpark.
Mud Trail Restrictions
- Waiver: All participants (even adults walking the trail to supervise children) must have an up to date waiver form completed before taking part in activities. Participants aged under 18 must have a waiver completed by a parent of guardian.
- Minimum age 4.
- Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult
- 1 adult is required to supervise every 6 participating children (U18) – this can be either by participating in the course or using the walking trail.
- Under 8’s must be accompanied by an adult on the Mud Trail on a 1:3 ratio.
- Maximum weight 115kg (18 stone).
- Participation may lead to damage to clothing or personal items. We recommend leaving valuable items behind and avoiding wearing anything of high value. Any belongings taken onto the trail are at your own risk.
- Shoes must be worn.

- Benign heart palpitations not requiring medication
- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
- Inflammatory or Irritable Bowel Syndrome
- Mild COPD
- Mild Form of Arthritis

- Broken Bones more than 6 months previously

- Catheter or colostomy bag

- COPE requiring nebulisers or previous hospital admission
- Cystic Fibrosis
- Dementia or Brain Injury

- Insulin dependant Diabetes

- Low blood pressure, prone to fainting

Restricted Conditions
We apologise that you are unable to take part at this time due to safety restrictions.
- Any nose and throat disease causing breathing difficulties
- Beta Blockers
- Bone Cancer
- Brittle Bones
- Cancer effecting breathing
- Current blood clot on the lungs / PE
- Drug or Alcohol intake
- Haemophilia
- Infectious disease, E.G. Current chicken pox, whooping cough
- Moderate to severe heart failure
- Neck or Spinal weakness and increased risk of injury or surgical implants to stabilise
- Pregnancy
- Previous or current Retinal detachment
- Severs Anaemia
- Severe COPD, on a portable or home oxygen
- Unstable Angina / Ischaemic Heart Disease
- Untreated Psychosis
